Why Every Pick Is Capped at a $1,000 Model Position

Every trade on our ledger is modeled on a maximum $1,000 position, scaled by its Amora Confidence score. A 88-conviction pick books $880 of exposure; a 55 books $550. This one rule does more work than anything else in the system.

First, it makes results comparable. A +40% option win means the same thing in March as it does in July, because the capital at risk is normalized. There is no way to flatter the record by sizing up the winners after the fact.

Second, it scales to your account. The $1,000 is a model unit, not a prescription. A $5,000 account might treat one unit as $200; a $100,000 account might use $2,000. The percentages, stops, and asymmetry hold at any multiple — which is why we publish returns in both percent and model dollars.

Third, it enforces survival. Six picks a day at capped size means no single morning can meaningfully damage the model account. Options can and do go to zero — the cap is why a -100% premium loss shows up on our ledger as an ordinary bad day instead of a catastrophe.
