Why We Publish Every Loss

← All Posts July 24, 2026 · The Stoptions Daily

Open our results page on any day and you will find losing trades sitting right next to the winners — same table, same math, same $1,000-max sizing. No asterisks, no "closed early, does not count," no memory-holed picks.

We do this for a selfish reason: it is the only honest way to prove an edge exists. A win rate means nothing in isolation. Our system often runs below a 50% hit rate — and still compounds — because the average winner runs multiples of the average loss. You can only verify that asymmetry if you can see every loss.

Publishing losses also disciplines the system itself. Every pick carries a stop and a 15% trailing stop from day one, because we know the exit will be public. There is no incentive to let a loser ride and hope, which is precisely the failure mode that destroys most retail options accounts.

When you evaluate any signals service — including ours — ask one question: can I see the full ledger, losers included, at real entry and exit prices? If the answer is no, you are not looking at a track record. You are looking at marketing.
